Our Mission

Unite is our opportunity to lead by example! This event was created to demonstrate that supportive alliances, connections and friendships are a fundamental component to any community, dance or otherwise.

This convention is an inclusive, interactive weekend of workshops and performances. The design of it will unite students and teachers in a non-competitive atmosphere of sharing and learning.

Over the weekend dancers will perform group dances of their studio’s choosing. A panel made up of participating studio representatives will give feedback and recognize dancers in ways that are to inspire confidence, reward passion and encourage leadership.

All performers will have the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops in several different dance genres. These workshops will be lead by a selection of participating studio faculty. One special masterclass will facilitate the “UNITE” initiative by bringing all of the dancers together for a combined presentation that will be performed at the final showcase.

Team building activities, games and other activities will add to the fun of the weekend!
